Delaware’s online gaming sector hit a record in May 2025. Revenue surged 115.8% year-on-year. The state saw net gaming revenue jump from US$3.8 million to US$8.3 million This marks a significant boost for online casino games and online slot games alike.
The Delaware Lottery reported that May’s total net gaming revenue reached US$8.3 million. It included US$2.6 million from iGaming table games and US$5.7 million from online slot games. That surge reflects strong interest in online casino games and online slot games across the state.
Which Operators Led the Charge?
Delaware Park led with US$3.9 million in revenue during May. That represents a 70% increase. Harrington Raceway followed, posting US$2.7 million – a rise of 218% compared to May last year. Bally’s Dover also saw a notable jump, reporting US $1.8 million, up 130% vs. May 2024.
Despite this sharp year-on-year growth, May revenue was slightly lower than April’s total of US$8.4 million, indicating a modest 0.7% dip from April to May.
Operators have also invested heavily in promotions and new game content. These upgrades support further adoption of online slot games and table experiences. The state’s small market size could deliver outsized growth in percentage terms.
Projections Looking Good for the Blue Hen State
Looking ahead, industry analysts project continued growth in Delaware’s iGaming market. Given these record results, forecasts suggest online gaming revenue could rise another 20-30% year-on-year for the full 2026 fiscal year.
If that occurs, Delaware might exceed US $10 million per month in online casino gaming. The forecast leans on current growth trends and expanded game offerings via BetRivers platforms.
Overall, Delaware’s iGaming sector shows strong upward momentum. Online casino games and online slot games remain the core growth drivers. With a record 115.8% YoY increase in May 2025, the state’s gaming market could be entering a new era of sustained expansion.
