Michigan’s online casino games operators have set a new record, generating $260.5 million in revenue for March 2025, marking a 5% increase from the previous record set in January and a 20.9% rise compared to March 2024.
The state’s iGaming market has experienced consistent growth, with March’s revenue surpassing the $248.2 million recorded in January. This upward trend reflects the expanding popularity of online gaming platforms among Michigan residents.
Which Online Casino Games Operators Raked In the Most Revenue for March 2025?
BetMGM reclaimed the top revenue position from FanDuel, with FanDuel generating $69 million to FanDuel’s $68.1 million. Over the past three months of 2025, BetMGM and FanDuel are the top two contenders battling for first place in revenue for the Wolverine State. To date, BetMGM has raked in over $195.7 million in revenue, while FanDuel has acquired $192.7 million in revenue.
Other notable contributors include DraftKings at $41.1 million, enough for third place, and Fanatics Casino at $9.2 million for fourth place. DraftKings saw an unusual dip, earning $27.8 million in revenue in February. This may have been influenced by a record-setting $9.28 million progressive jackpot win by a customer late in the month—the largest ever recorded in the U.S.
Meanwhile, Fanatics Casino is the latest operator of online slot games and other iGaming offerings in the Michigan market. Since starting their operations, Fanatics Casino have been flirting with passing the $10 million threshold.
December saw them rake in $7.9 million, while January had a slight dip with $7.7 million. February had them bounce back with $8.2 million in revenue, while for March, the $9.2 million is the highest numbers they have acquired so far.
Michigan Online Casinos Continue to Thrive
Michigan’s iGaming industry has been on a steady growth trajectory since its inception in 2021. The state has now surpassed $5 billion in lifetime online casino revenue, joining New Jersey and Pennsylvania in this achievement.
Looking ahead, industry analysts anticipate continued growth, projecting that Michigan’s online casinos could generate up to $2.34 billion in revenue for the year. This optimistic outlook underscores Michigan’s position as a leading player in the U.S. iGaming market.
