New Jersey online casinos raked in a record $246.8 million in May in revenue according to reports. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) reported a 20.5% increase from last year’s total.
Additionally, the figure rose 14.6% from April, which indicates online casino games surging in the Garden State.
New Jersey Online Casinos Pick Up Steam
iGaming revenue rose 28.5% year-over-year and surpassed March’s previous record by 1.2%. Out of the total, $244.2 million came from online slot games and table games, marking a 28.6% annual increase. Meanwhile, online poker contributed $2.7 million, up 22.8% from last year.
FanDuel and Golden Nugget Atlantic City led all iGaming partnerships with $54.5 million in revenue. Meanwhile, DraftKings and Resorts Casino Hotel followed with $48.1 million, while BetMGM and Borgata earned $32.5 million.
Behind them, Caesars Digital generated $18 million through its New Jersey platforms, Caesars Palace and Tropicana Atlantic City.
These May figures strengthen New Jersey’s position as a top iGaming market, continuing momentum from its record-breaking 2024 performance.
Sports Betting Seeing Good Numbers As Well
Along with online casino games, sports betting has also performed well for May. Sports betting brought in $102.5 million in revenue, a 30.2% increase from May 2024’s $78.8 million total.
Online betting dominated the market, contributing $98 million of last month’s total revenue in New Jersey. Although March 2025 saw weak returns, May’s results confirm a strong recovery for New Jersey sportsbooks.
FanDuel led the pack, earning $44.3 million through its online Meadowlands sportsbook. DraftKings followed with $28.3 million. Fanatics placed third with $6.2 million, ahead of Bet365’s $6.0 million and ESPN Bet’s $4.9 million.
Additionally, New Jersey’s sports betting handle jumped 12.4% year-over-year, reaching $1.01 billion in May. Online wagers made up over 95% of that handle, totaling $967.1 million. Retail betting brought in only $43.5 million.
