New Jersey’s online casino industry posted a historic milestone in June 2025, recording $230.7 million in revenue. This marks the highest monthly total since the market launched in 2013. The impressive figure reflects growing interest in online casino games, especially online slot games and live dealer tables.
According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the June total represents a 23.5% increase from June 2024. Most of the revenue came from “other authorized games,” which brought in $228 million – a 23.7% increase. Peer-to-peer games earned $2.7 million, rising 9.4%. Industry analysts attribute this growth to a surge in player activity during summer and improved mobile gaming platforms.
Online slot games remained the biggest revenue driver, generating more than $160 million in June alone. Table games, including blackjack and roulette, brought in $60 million. Meanwhile, live dealer games continued to gain popularity, attracting players looking for a more interactive experience.
New Jersey’s Online Casino Operators Lead the Charge
FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM led the market, with FanDuel topping all operators with $42.3 million in revenue. These operators continue to invest in exclusive content and player promotions to stay competitive.
June 2025 followed a record-breaking May, which delivered $614.7 million in gaming revenue – New Jersey’s highest monthly total this year. May saw iGaming revenue jump 28.5%, sports betting surge 30.2%, and casino win climb 10.9%, highlighting broad industry growth.
Although June’s numbers dipped slightly compared to May, the market’s momentum remains strong. Operators continue to thrive from iGaming growth and stable online betting activity.
With year-to-date trends staying positive and regulatory updates underway, industry watchers are focused on Q3 – especially with the NFL season and potential new product launches approaching.
Tax contributions from online gaming totaled nearly $35 million for the month. These funds help support public education, senior programs, and infrastructure across New Jersey.
The Garden State Focuses on Responsible Gaming
Regulators are also focused on promoting responsible gaming. The state recently expanded its self-exclusion tools and partnered with advocacy groups for player protection.
As more players shift to digital platforms, experts expect New Jersey’s online market to maintain upward momentum. Continued investment in new technologies and game offerings will likely fuel future growth.
With June’s numbers now official, New Jersey cements its status as a leader in U.S. online casino innovation and performance.
