Pennsylvania’s online casino games sector delivered another strong month in July 2025.
According to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, operators recorded $228.3 million in adjusted gross revenue, marking the second-highest all-time monthly total. Only March, with $238.2 million, surpassed that level.
Year-to-date, taxable operator winnings reached $1.56 billion, up 28.9 % compared with the same period in 2024. In July alone, revenue climbed 30.9 % over July 2024. Meanwhile, the state collected $67.4 million in tax remittances from online casino games.
Operator Highlights and Online Slot Games Surge
Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led the pack again. Its digital platforms produced $87.8 million in revenue, a 37.2 % increase year-over-year. Notably, operators under Penn Entertainment surpassed $1 billion in cumulative non-poker table games revenue.
Next in line, FanDuel Casino (Valley Forge) earned $61 million, a 34.1 % jump. Rivers Casino Philadelphia secured $37.8 million, boosted by a record $5.3 million from online slot games. Caesars contributed $10.5 million, marking its fifth straight month above $10 million.
Among mid-tier players, Golden Nugget reached $7.6 million, aided by strong slots revenue despite table-game losses. BetParx also cleared $5.6 million, and Live! Casino posted $5.08 million, buoyed by a record slots haul.
However, Mount Airy and Bally’s posted declines. Mount Airy fell 29.3 %, with $2.8 million in revenue, while Bally’s dropped 4 % to $3.3 million.
Continued Growth for Online Casino Games
The latest figures highlight steady growth across Pennsylvania’s iGaming market. Online casino games continue to outpace expectations, fueled by increasing mobile adoption and wider player engagement.
Online slot games, in particular, have driven consistent monthly gains, demonstrating their role as a core revenue driver. Analysts suggest Pennsylvania’s sustained momentum could serve as a model for other states considering iGaming expansion.
