Pennsylvania’s online casino industry achieved its second-highest monthly gross revenue in April 2025, generating $227.7 million. This number is the second-best all-time for online casinos in the Keystone State.

April’s online casino revenue slightly dipped month-over-month, but recorded a 31.30% year-over-year increase. In context, the revenue last April 2024 was $173.4 million. Moreover, while slightly below March’s record-breaking $294.2 million, April’s numbers underscore the sustained growth of Pennsylvania’s online casino games.

The total gaming revenue for April 2025 was $558.7 million, a 10.7% increase from last April.

Quick Overview of Pennsylvania Online Casino April 2025 Revenue

A report from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) broke down iGaming revenue per casino game type. April 2025 saw online slot games lead the charge, raking in $169.5 million. In second place, online table games acquired $55.9 million, and online poker is third place with $2.3 million.

With April 2025’s performance, online casinos have generated $1.11 billion in year-to-date revenue for Pennsylvania. It is worth noting that Pennsylvania’s online casinos didn’t reach the billion mark until May 2024.

Since the start of 2025, online casinos have posted great numbers for the Keystone State:

January: $210.8 million
February: $207.6 million
March: $238.2 million
April: $227.1 million

These numbers are set to ramp up some more, especially in the fourth quarter when the sports calendar comes back.

Pennsylvania Casinos Sets the Pace for Record 2025 Revenue

Experts believe that Pennsylvania casinos are set to generate $3.33 billion in revenue this year. If they manage to realize this projection, it will clear the $2.71 billion revenue they acquired in 2024.

On the online poker side, the PGCB revealed that Pennsylvania officially joined the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA). Operators began merging player pools with New Jersey and Michigan in late April.

May will better show MSIGA’s full impact, since it covers a complete month of activity. With this momentum, online poker revenue could potentially surpass $3 million next month.
