Pennsylvania’s iGaming industry has posted impressive growth in February 2025, with online gambling revenue continuing to surge ahead of the state’s retail casinos. According to the latest data released by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), despite a 4.3% decrease in total gaming revenue for February 2025 ($477.2 million), the iGaming sector saw a favorable uptick in revenue compared to the same month last year, outpacing retail casino earnings by a notable margin.
In February 2025, iGaming platforms across the state generated over $207.6 million in total revenue, marking an increase of 12.3%. This rise comes as online slot games, poker, and table games gain even more traction among residents, driven by improved digital interfaces and a growing preference for mobile gaming.
In contrast, retail casinos in Pennsylvania reported a revenue of $257.5 million for the month. Traditional slots reflected a 8.1% decline, while table games saw a 7.2% decline. This number can be attributed to fewer slot machines operating compared to last year.
Though the state’s physical casinos have been slumping, the expansion of online gaming platforms has begun to shift the landscape of Pennsylvania’s gambling market.
