Iron Dog Studio is not an independent company, but rather one of the brands of 1×2 Network, along with 1x2Gaming. This is a slot development studio, a new company which they’ve started in the last two years or so. It’s based in UK and it deals only with development of very cool games, while the ones working on expanding the reach of their content and signing new partners will be the mother company. Iron Dog can just focus on what they do best, slot machines, without worrying about the other stuff.
Safety wise, this is a subsidiary for a widely respected company, and they’re just as OK to pick. They have a gaming license from UK’s gambling regulators, while for independent testing of their games and RNG they went to reputable labs like Quinel or GLI.
The earliest news from Iron Dog Studio dates back to January 2017 on their site, but that’s the point when they got their first casino to include their content, so they were probably founded in 2016. The first slot machine that they’ve released came in December 2016, and it was called Cosmic Crystals.
The company is a subsidiary, a developer of casino games for the 1×2 Network. They also have a couple of table games out, so clearly slot machines are not their only focus.
Their first couple of months in 2017 were full of news of various casinos which included their first slot machine in their collection, and so during the Spring of that year they launched three other slots (Cherry Blast, Paint and Gifts of Ostara). Their 3D European Roulette has been released in June 2017.
They’ve been quite active in participating at various exhibits around the world, and they got nominations and awards in the meantime, recognizing the high quality work that they did so far. One example is the recent nomination for the award of SBC Rising Star in Gaming.
Iron Dog currently has 16 different games released, out of which 13 are video slots. The remaining 3 releases consist of 3D Blackjack, 3D Baccarat and 3D European Roulette.
Whether you’re looking for high-end graphics, for diverse themes or for unique features, the games available from Iron Dog will be appropriate for you. They’ve gone with a mix of very common and unique themes, so they will satisfy both those looking for something new and those that just want to play their Ancient Egypt or leprechaun games (Treasure of Horus and Rainbow Wilds, respectively).
The more adventurous ideas that they’ve gone with include the themes found in slots like The Curious Cabinet, Blood Queen or Gifts of Ostara.
I’ve found plenty of other good reasons to check their games out, and I have to admit that I’m already a fan, after trying a couple of their slots. The Curious Cabinet was the latest one that I loved, thanks to its quirky theme, its excellent graphics and the presence of up to 5x multipliers. Free spins, mega symbols, re-spins, sticky wilds and scatters were also present in this game.
Their latest release, The Curious Cabinet, is one of their popular games right now. Others which are a lot of fun and enjoyed by players include Moirai Blaze, Blood Queen and Si Xiang. These should also give you a good idea of what you can expect from this new developer.
RTP wise, what I’ve been seeing so far from Iron Dog Studio tends to look pretty good, though it’s not breaking any records. The highest RTP release of theirs so far is Gifts of Ostara, at 96.7%. The next ones are a bit farther behind, coming in at 96.18% (Siren’s Kingdom), 96.13% (Neon Jungle) and 96.07% (Blood Queen). The rest of the slots they launched so far are at 96% or lower.
