Mazooma Interactive Games has been established in 1997 and it started out as a developer of games for the land-based market. These days, they’ve changed their focus to the online and they started developing content for the United Kingdom and for other countries. Currently, the company is part of Novomatic, and it contributes with its ability to turn land-based titles into online ones. They have also created over a dozen slot machines for use at online casinos.
Mazooma is based in Nottingham, England, and it’s registered as a UK company. The two main gaming licenses that have been obtained by Mazooma Interactive Games are the ones from the UK Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. Both highly respected jurisdictions, they help insure that players are treated fairly.
Some of the industry’s biggest brands have partnered with Mazooma, and this includes names like 888, William Hill, OpenBet, Unibet, Ladbrokes and many others.
Mazooma Interactive Games has been founded in 1997, and for a fairly long time they’ve been developers which served the land-based gambling market. They created impressive slots over the years, including the likes of Snakes and Ladders, Cops n Robbers and Deal or No Deal.
The company changed directions in 2009, when they announced that they would become a supplier for the online gaming niche. They got some powerful partners in this niche immediately, and the list of big brands supporting their content has grown a lot over the years. Pick any of the top casinos around, and you should be able to find one which offers their games. I haven’t found a large number of slots from them though, only about a dozen or so, but it’s enough to give us an idea of how good they are.
Mazooma is currently a Novomatic company, so they’re part of a big group that’s important to the gambling industry. The announcement came on April 4th, 2017, that Mazooma Interactive had just been acquired by Greentube UK, another company which is part of Novomatic.
Mazooma doesn’t currently have all that many slot machines released under their own name, at least not for the online market. Still, I’ve found 13 slot machines in their collection, which should be quite enjoyable.
Themes in their games tend to be the type that people generally enjoy. Ancient Egypt has been used in a couple of games, as was the robbery theme (the famous Cops n Robbers), safaris (King of the Pride), Ancient Greece (Odds of the Gods) and even a branded title that’s called Ronnie O’Sullivan’s Big Break.
For the graphics quality, I’ve seen some excellent games, along with some average looking ones, but I haven’t noticed any that could be called ugly. They’re fairly interesting and fun to play.
I’ve also seen some big payouts mentioned in a couple of their games, even of up to 10,000x, and that’s something which makes their slots exciting to play. The features will help with that as well, and they range from wilds, to free spins and multipliers.
Out of their current line-up of online slot machines, several were very well known in the land-based market as well. Cops n Robbers has made the jump to the online, but it’s not the only good game that Mazooma is offering and which players have taken a liking to.
The RTP is one of the company’s weak spots, at least that’s how I see it. The vast majority of the games they’ve released so far are near the 95% mark, which is below average for a slot available these days. There is one above that line, Shooting Stars: Supernova being mentioned at 96.11%, along with another that I’d recommend you stay away from (Notre Dame, which is at 92.9% RTP).
